How to Install Solar Wall Lights on Wood Fences and Masonry Walls
Installing decorative wall-mounted solar lights requires no electrical wiring or specialized electrical trade tools. Follow this simple guide to secure your light fixtures correctly.
Step 1: Select Your Mounting Locations
Choose installation locations on fences or walls that receive direct sunlight for at least DAILY_CHARGING_HOURS per day. For perimeter fence posts, space your light points approximately FENCE_POST_SPACING_FEET apart to maintain even pattern separation.
Step 2: Measure and Mark Mounting Height
Measure a vertical height of MOUNTING_HEIGHT_INCHES (or RECOMMENDED_MOUNTING_HEIGHT) above ground level. Mark the screw pilot hole locations with a pencil. Alignment recommendations can be reviewed inside [the main guide].
Step 3: Drill Pilot Holes
For wooden fence posts, drill pilot holes using a 1/4 inch drill bit. For brick or concrete walls, insert appropriate masonry wall anchors prior to driving screws.Step 4: Mount the Bracket and Light Unit
Secure the mounting hardware using stainless steel screws. Align the back slots of the Solar Mandala Lights onto the mounting hardware, pressing firmly to lock it in place.Step 5: Activate the Internal Power Switch
Turn the internal power switch to the ON position. The light collector will automatically charge during the day and activate light output for BATTERY_LIFE_HOURS once darkness falls.Read the full guide: The Ultimate Guide to Solar Decorative Fence & Wall Accent Lighting
